Picos are popular for teaching the cadets who sail at the club regularly. There is often a large fleet present on Sundays and Wednesdays. The boat has the advantage that it can equally be sailed single or double handed.
The club has two Picos which are available for day hire as they are quite a forgiving boat for more experienced beginners as well as providing excitement in stronger winds for intermediate sailors.
